Security

Here is how CampusCash protects your account and records. No system is perfectly safe, so we also tell you what to do if something looks wrong.

Records locked to their owner

Every record is locked to the account that made it, so other students can't see your transactions, budgets or photo. Only a small number of authorised administrators can view accounts, to give support.

Sign-in

Passwords are stored scrambled, never in readable form. You can sign in with email and password or Google. Deactivated accounts can't sign in. Profile photos are private and shown only through short-lived links.

Encrypted connection

Traffic between your device and CampusCash is encrypted (HTTPS).

We never ask for

Your Telebirr PIN, bank password, card number or one-time codes. Anyone asking for these in our name is a scammer.

Tips for you

Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else, never share it, and sign out on shared or lab computers.

Report a problem

If you notice anything suspicious, email ahmedhassenmohamed11@gmail.com. If a problem puts personal data at risk, we will tell the Ethiopian Communications Authority and the affected students within 72 hours of finding out.
